Kids say the darndest things!

Although it's a blessing and a curse, when your kids really learn to talk it's just so amazing and fun! Sometimes we just crack up and the way Avery will put together a sentence, or how she'll put emphasis on the wrong word. Or....how she'll repeat things back to us that we don't want her to! Some of my favorites:

"Wait, wait, wait... just a second, I have to get ___ fill in the blank___ " (one of her many stall tactics at bedtime!)

"I'm in charge!" She has only said this to me a few times, and it didn't go over well, so now she says it to her animals and dolls!

"I poopied in the potty, I have no accidents, I'm a princess, I get a present, I have no accidents, I am a big girl and always use the potty, I'm a princess" (this is usually said in one breath, and I'm sure only me being her mother can actually understand all of this!)

"Awwww...the batteries aren't working...Daddy fix it when he get home....Daddy can fix anything!" :-)

"Look, I see big mountains....God made those mountains...he made them for me...not Daddy"

"You sing wit me?"

She'll ask me what something is..."What's that mommy?" "It's a cactus" (for example) "Ooohhhh...I LOVE cactus!" She says this almost every time she asks me what something is!

"Don't say No to me! Only Jesus says No!" (I explained that yes, Jesus tells us No, but Jesus also said that mommies and daddies could say no too! She did not seem too convinced!)

"Sing me a slow song, so I can twirl" !!!!
And this one always cracks me up....apparently we go too many places, b/c every morning I go in her room and say Good Morning...and she immediately says "We're we going today?!" Of course we're usually always going somewhere, and then she says "My friends come too!" (which of course they usually do!)
"I luv you Mommy" (okay, yes, you can have another cookie!)
