Preschool!

In mid-January, Avery started preschool! She goes on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9-12. We just love it! It's at a Baptist Church close to our house and she's really enjoying her school time! Her day starts with music class led by the church's youth pastor. Then she has "station" time (different stations with puzzles, cooking, etc). School and bible lesson, outdoor play, circle time and reading time. She also eats lunch there, which is great, b/c she actually eats! When I come to pick her up, it's just so cute b/c she's sitting at the table with her little friends and they are all eating and talking! There's only one other girl in her class (8 kids total), but she's holding her own! Here's a pic of her 1st day of school, along with her and her teacher, Ms Holly and one of Avery with her Dora backpack! And I had to post a pic of one of her projects - the sock puppet! Everyday she comes home with crafts and projects that she's been working on. It's just too cute!
